N.I.S.C.N.E. is a group of nursing professionals active in nursing and medical informatics, the utilization of information science and services in support of health care delivery and research.  NISCNE is New England based and meets regularly to provide opportunities for networking, education, and discussion of issues related to health care information systems

N.I.S.C.N.E. will represent members who share interests in Nursing Informatics, Information Sharing, Systems Strategies, Collaboration, Networking, and Education. 

Philosophy

We, the members of N.I.S.C.N.E., believe that Nursing Informatics is a key component in the management of patient care delivery systems. We recognize that the membership combines skills in information technology and nursing science to support nursing practice and to enhance patient care. Our collaborative efforts provide a forum for sharing of ideas, networking, and educational opportunities.
