Ann founded Watermark Technologies in 2002 for the purpose of providing sound technical and operational solutions to clinicians,
managers and executives from a clinical/administrator perspective.
The company is an outgrowth of her own experiences with systems' solutions and the reality for clinicians and other end users who
need some very specific functionality to achieve the value expected from their systems.
Background: Ann has a BSN with an MBA in Health Care Administration. Her I.T. education is in software engineering from the Harvard Extension Program.
She has over 15 years experience in operations, productivity and budget analysis; restructuring; strategic IT planning;
database and web designing. Before starting Watermark Technologies, she worked as Director, Patient Care Information Systems in an
integrated delivery system; and Director, Information Technology at a leading international trade association for electrophysiologists.

Patricia Costa is Performance Improvement / Information Systems Coordinator for the Nursing Department at the Providence VA
Medical Center in Providence RI. She has been a member of NISCNE since 1997. Her past experience includes: Special Projects
Coordinator and Nursing Administrator. Patricia holds a BSN from Salve Regina University and a MBA from Bryant College.

Cheryl is currently the clinical informatics specialist at Milford
Regional Medical Center. She is responsible for implementing clinical
documentation using Meditech Magic. A graduate of Clark University
Master of Health Administration program, she also holds a BSN from
Worcester State College and a diploma from St.Vincent Hospital School of
Nursing. She is certified by ANCC in Nursing Informatics. Her past
experiences include management, staff education, patient education,
quality improvement and JCAHO coordination. Most recently she was the
Manager of Clinical Ancillary and Home Health Applications in the IT
division of an healthcare integrated network. She has been a past
president of NISCNE.
